GARDEN GROVE : School District to Honor 475 Workers

Officials of the Garden Grove Unified School District on Wednesday will honor hundreds of employees for their service, including one principal who has served since 1954, a spokesman said.
As part of the district’s annual employee recognition ceremony, officials will honor Richard Lane, principal of Crosby Elementary School, for his 40 years of service.
Lane is one of 475 employees who will be honored during the program, said district spokesman Alan Trudell.
The ceremony will be held at 3:30 p.m. in the theater at Los Amigos High School, 16566 Newhope St., Fountain Valley.
