FORT SMITH, Ark. —
The death of a toddler who unzipped a beanbag chair and suffocated inside it has led to the recall of 2.5 million chairs.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission investigated the chairs after a 19-month-old boy died on Sept. 9 in Unionville, Mo., when he unzipped a Baseline chair, crawled inside and suffocated from inhaling the foam filling pellets.
