Benner to Handle Fluor Information Systems

Dennis W. Benner has been appointed to the newly created position of vice president and chief information officer for Fluor Corp., the Irvine-based engineering, construction and diversified services company. He will be responsible for the company’s information systems, including hardware, software, network and telecommunications activities. Before joining Fluor, Benner was vice president and general manager of TRW’s Information Technology Services division in Orange. Before that, he was division vice president of marketing for Automatic Data Processing Inc. in La Palma.

* Ken Treaster has joined Interior Specialists, a design center specializing in residential flooring and window coverings, as president of the Orange County division in Irvine. Treaster was formerly senior vice president of sales and marketing for Tuftex Carpet Mills in Santa Fe Springs and, before that, regional vice president of sales and marketing for Shaw Industries, a carpet manufacturer.

* Brad Fanshaw has been appointed president of Coddington Cos., a Stanton hot-rod and custom wheel company. Fanshaw, who has been with the company for four years, had been vice president and director of marketing.

* Jo-Ann Moberly has joined Mariners Bank in San Clemente as vice president and operations administrator. She had been vice president and operations manager at the Newport Beach office of City National Bank for the past nine years. Before that, Moberly was a banking instructor in the Regional Occupational Program.

* John D. Jones has been appointed director of contracting and compliance for Prescription Solutions, the pharmacy benefit management subsidiary of PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. in Cypress. Before joining the company, Jones was director of pharmacy at Blue Shield of California.

* Robert Grambo and Greg Hawkins have been selected to head the U.S. sales division of Ingram Micro Inc., a Santa Ana wholesale distributor of microcomputer products. They succeed Jim Wittrey, who left the company. Grambo is vice president of telesales, and Hawkins is vice president of sales.

* Katie Milius has been promoted to manager of corporate team relations for National Telephone & Communications Co. in Irvine. Milius, who joined the company in 1991, had been corporate team administrator.

* John Hirabayashi has joined the Hyatt Regency Irvine as senior sales manager, responsible for financial, real estate, restaurant and food product accounts. He was formerly national sales manager at the Sheraton Grande in Los Angeles.

* Lou Ferrini has been appointed vice president of sales for Olicon Imaging Systems Inc., a San Clemente medical-imaging company. Previously, he was national sales manager for Biomagnetic Technology Inc. Ferrini has also held executive sales positions at Picker International Inc. and Adac Laboratories Inc.

* Michael J. Occhipinti has been appointed vice president of planned giving for Saddleback Memorial Foundation, the fund-raising arm of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center in Laguna Hills. He formerly was a charitable gift planner for the Salvation Army in Southern California for the Western United States.

* Alan E. Ross has been selected chairman of the Semiconductor Industry Assn. Ross is president of Rockwell Telecommunications in Newport Beach.

* Richard C. Tippett has joined CalComp, an Anaheim maker of computer graphics products, as vice president for manufacturing. He succeeds John W. Powell, who left the company. Tippett was formerly president and general manager of Four Pi Systems, a San Diego subsidiary of Hewlett-Packard. Before that, he was with GenRad Inc. for nine years and with NCR Corp. for ten years.
