Drumming Up Aid for Rocker

The Walter Trout Band and Chris Gaffney & the Cold Hard Facts will headline a benefit concert Saturday for John Senne, a veteran member of the Orange County pop music community who recently was injured in a motorcycle accident.

Senne most recently has been the drummer with Good Rockin’ Daddy, which also will be at the show at Rockfield Tavern, 23600 Rockfield Blvd. It starts at 3 p.m. The lineup also includes Lost Angeles, Eric Sardinas and his band, the Druthers and members of the Rhythm Lords.

Trout said Senne crushed his arm when he fell from his motorcycle after swerving to avoid an animal. Senne, who has no medical insurance, won’t be able to use his arm for six months, Trout said.
