FDA Employees to Move to Irvine From L.A.: The relocation of more than 100 workers in March is to further the agency’s nationwide consolidation. The Food and Drug Administration is seeking a site for a new laboratory to replace the aging facility in Los Angeles that houses its administrative, compliance and investigative offices. It is also seeking a 10-acre tract in Orange County on which to build a 185,000-square-foot laboratory.
