SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO : 25 Honored for Scores on College-Level Tests

Twenty-five students at Santa Margarita Catholic High School have been named AP Scholars in recognition of their scores on the college-level Advanced Placement examinations.
Only about 12% of the 459,000 students nationwide who took the exams in May scored high enough to be honored by the College Board as AP Scholars.
Yvette Anaya qualified for an AP Scholar With Distinction award by earning grades of three or above on five or more AP examinations.
Nine students qualified for an award of AP Scholar With Honor. They are James Abrams, John Bamford, Richard Guy, Jaime Hannefield, Jason Kramb, Michelle Lavoie, Eryn Murphy, Kelly Ojdana and Robert Omahoney.
