From Times Staff and Wire Reports

Viacom, Blockbuster Cancel Entertainment, Sports Complex: Viacom and its recently acquired Blockbuster Entertainment unit canceled plans for the $1.4-billion complex in south Florida, which had been personally championed by Blockbuster Chairman Wayne Huizenga and dubbed “Wayne’s World” by locals. Video rental giant Blockbuster announced in April it would build the 2,500-acre “Blockbuster Park.”.
