Fans Not Clamoring for Rams to Stay

Share

I suspect that Jim Everett would like to wish the Rams’ ownership and management a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year for:

1. Trading him to the Saints.

2. Rejuvenating his career and wallet.

3. Allowing him to embarrass the Rams twice.

4. Proving to the world that the Ram offense really is obsolete.

5. Showing that no matter how many times you change the quarterback, other players, coaches or home city, you still can’t win if you have the same bungling ownership and management.

So Darryl Henley thinks the Rams’ loss to the Saints was “humiliating?” Maybe now Henley knows what many Ram fans feel with him merely being on the roster. Too bad ownership and management don’t share the feelings of the fans, but when did they ever?

Bon voyage, Rams.

Hey, L.A. football fans, let them go, cheer them on. The Rams and possibly the Raiders moving would be a blessing in disguise. No more blackouts, all those wonderful games on TV. Only 50,000-60,000 actually go to the games, while millions are denied the big games on TV. We would go from the worst TV viewing area to the best. Goodby Rams, goodby Raiders.

If the Rams move to Baltimore, they couldn’t change their name to the Colts, as another team already uses that name. But they could probably change their name to the Clots. This would be a good play on the name and also would be the true-to-life name in pro football.
