Export Center Offers List of Trade Leads

Congressional passage of the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade, or GATT, has prompted the Export Small Business Development Center to suggest an “A to Z” of export leads.
The center, which has an office in Oxnard, lists the following as “hot” opportunities in its publication, the SBDC Explorer:
“Algeria wants packaging and wrapping materials. Generators are good bets to Botswana, fishing vessels to Brunei and ice cream to Finland.
“Parking meters will find markets in Guatemala, poultry processing equipment in Hungary, microscopes in Mauritius and popcorn in Peru. Explosion-proof containers are sought for Switzerland, woodworking machines for Zimbabwe.”
