LA PALMA : Purchase of Four New Police Cars OKd
The City Council has approved the purchase of four replacement police vehicles at a total cost of $69,000.
The council, without debate and by unanimous vote, responded to a written request by Police Chief David Barr.
City Manager Pamela Gibson noted that the city’s 1994-95 budget, approved last summer, includes $69,000 for the cars. She said they will be bought through a mass-volume order coordinated by Los Angeles County.
