Pico Products Earnings for 1st Quarter Fall by 28%

Pico Products Inc., a Lake View Terrace manufacturer of pay-TV security devices, reported that its fiscal first-quarter earnings fell by 28%. It said the decline resulted from its investments in new products and a regional office in Hong Kong.

In the quarter that ended Oct. 31, Pico earned $182,904, while its sales rose 4% to $8.09 million. A year earlier, the company had net income of $252,478 on $7.76 million in sales.
