Putting Council Votes to the Test
Your “On the Issues” question of Oct. 28 was, “Should the public be allowed to sue City Council members because of the votes they cast?”
I believe the answer is a wholehearted “yes!”--especially if and when these votes are tainted, politically motivated, unfair, predetermined and in violation of public policy and the law. No one--not even politicians--should be held to be above the law.
