Car Covers Offered Prior to Spraying in Camarillo

Members of the Ventura County Fruitfly Action Cooperative Taskforce will offer Camarillo residents free plastic car covers Saturday, task force officials announced this week.
The covers will be free for the asking from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Camarillo City Hall, 601 Carmen Drive, according to Elizabeth Brokaw, a spokeswoman for the group.
Brokaw said the covers are being distributed in advance of Tuesday evening’s aerial spraying in eastern Camarillo. For more information, call 642-1811.
