Top Executive Leaves Styles on Video Inc.

Styles on Video Inc., a Canoga Park-based maker of electronic imaging systems, said one of its top executives has resigned, and that a class action lawsuit alleging violations of federal securities laws has been filed against the company.

Company officials could not be reached for further explanation of the nature of the lawsuit, or for comment on the reason for the resignation of Thomas Leaper, formerly chief operating and financial officer.

The company said Leaper left to return to the company’s former independent auditors, Kellogg & Andelson. Styles said it is seeking a replacement for Leaper, and that it plans to switch accounting firms for the company’s current fiscal year audit.

Styles on Video makes imaging systems that allow consumers to preview cosmetic changes in their appearance.
