Boulevard to Close for La Habra Pride Fair

The city’s 14th annual I Love La Habra fair will grow this year as it moves from an abandoned parking lot to a busy boulevard.

City Council members approved the move recently after the owners of 17 out of 18 businesses along La Habra Boulevard agreed to the fair, which will cause the boulevard to be blocked from Euclid to Cypress streets Feb. 9 through 12 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The 18th business said the fair may interrupt its drive-up banking route, City Manager Lee Risner said.

The fair, sponsored by the La Habra Community Services Department, celebrates pride in the city, officials said.

Featured at the fair will be food and crafts vendors, city officials said.
