Satellite Technology Management Inc.: The Irvine company said Tuesday it has won a $4.2-million contract to install a satellite communications network for the stock exchange in Rio de Janeiro.

The network will establish communications links between exchange centers in 10 of Brazil’s largest cities and the main trading floor in Rio de Janeiro.
