BRIEFLY : Youth: Teen-Ager a Contest Semifinalist

A Brentwood teen-ager has been selected as a semifinalist in Teen magazine’s 1995 Miss Teenage America contest.

Wendi Glodery, 15, was among 40 teen-age girls chosen to compete for a spot in the final competition scheduled for March in New York City. Twelve contestants will take part in the finals.

Glodery, a sophomore at Palisades High School, hopes to pursue an acting career.

Miss Teenage America was established in 1961 to recognize “outstanding young women between the ages of 13 and 18.”

Finalists are selected for their achievements in leadership, community service and academics.
