Effective Monday, Jan. 9, the home-delivered price of The Times will change to $4.04 per week for daily and Sunday service. The new rate for daily-only home delivery will be $3.48 per week, and $1.80 per week for Sunday-only service. These rates will affect all subscribers.
Applicable California sales taxes are included in the above rates.
Also on Monday, the single-copy price for Monday-Saturday issues of The Times will change to 50 cents. There will be no change in the single-copy price of the Sunday Times. California sales taxes will be added to these prices where applicable.
The new home delivery rates will go into effect in those portions of Los Angeles, Ventura, San Bernardino, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties in which subscribers are billed directly by The Times. The new single-copy price for daily issues will apply in portions of Los Angeles County and in most parts of San Bernardino, Riverside and Santa Barbara counties.
