Broadway Promotes Two Executives: The department store chain broadened the responsibilities of two vice presidents. Elayne M. Garofolo is assuming responsibility for all merchandising, planning and distribution for Broadway Stores Inc.’s stores. She will retain her current marketing and product development responsibilities. Robert J. Lambert is now responsible for store operations and visual merchandising. He will continue to oversee the company’s human resources operations.
