United to Offer Ticketless Travel on All Domestic Flights: UAL Corp. unveiled its plan just two days after Southwest Airlines announced that it would introduce ticketless travel on all of its routes beginning Jan. 31. The move by United, the nation’s second-largest airline, marks the biggest ticketless program to be introduced by a U.S. carrier. The system, involving 2,000 flights daily, should be operating fully by midsummer, United said.
