Davstar Industries Ltd.: The firm said Tuesday it has acquired some assets of UroHealth, a Louisville, Ky., operator of an outpatient clinic for incontinence care.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Davstar makes and markets disposable medical products for care of incontinence and also manufactures a variety of custom injection-molded plastic products for customers in a variety of industries.

The company, based in Costa Mesa, recently announced an agreement to merge with a Minneapolis-based firm, Dacomed Corp., that manufactures devices for the treatment of impotence.

Michael Piraino, Davstar’s executive vice president, said acquisition of the UroHealth clinic will provide the combined companies with the seed for a chain of outpatient clinics devoted to treatment and management of a variety of urological disorders.
