Malloy Family Partners, a company that specializes in building trench supports for large construction projects, plans to relocate from Los Angeles to Moorpark.
The firm has purchased a 28,000-square-foot building on Commerce Avenue for $1.4 million, according to brokers Ron Polito and Mike Crocker of Don L. Carlton Inc., which handled the transaction.
The 2.75-acre property was sold by a local family partnership, Crocker said.
The Malloy firm reportedly made the move to be closer to most of its clientele.
