Applications are being accepted from residents interested in serving on the city of Camarillo’s investment committee or as the city’s representative to the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District, officials announced this week.

Members of the city investment committee review monthly investment reports and help plan investment strategies. The Air Pollution Control District post involves reviewing proposed rules and representing the city’s position on air quality issues, according to City Clerk Marilyn Thiel.

The candidate chosen for the investment committee will fill the remainder of a two-year term that ends April 15, 1996. The candidate filling the representative’s post on the Air Pollution Control District should be willing to serve four years.
