“X-Files,” easily one of the best shows on television, showed its Super Bowl preference Friday night during the opening credits. The show, which deals with two FBI agents who investigate the bizarre and supernatural, listed its co-executive producers as James “Chargers” Wong and Glen “Bolts, Baby!” Morgan. Viewers of the show have grown accustomed to everything from alien abduction to prehistoric insects to a killer sewer worm. But Friday’s prediction of Charger success was easily the most implausible thing the show has done.
