Disneyland Names Vice President for Promotions, Events

Bryan Wittman has been named vice president for promotions, publicity and special events at Disneyland in Anaheim. He had been director of marketing since 1991. Wittman joined Walt Disney Attractions in 1985 and came to Disneyland in 1988 as manager of promotions.

* Michael D. McKee has been elected a director of Irvine Apartment Communities in Newport Beach, the developer of new apartment properties on the Irvine Ranch. He succeeds Raymond L. Watson, vice chairman of the Irvine Co., who earlier announced his retirement. McKee is executive vice president and chief legal officer of the Irvine Co. Before joining the Irvine Co. last year, he was managing partner of the Orange County office of Latham & Watkins, specializing in corporate finance.

* William S. Johnson has been appointed controller of Earle M. Jorgensen Co., a Brea metal distributor. He had previously been assistant controller.

* Kim Goo has been appointed vice president of store operations for HomeBase, an Irvine-based home-improvement warehouse chain. He was formerly director of store operations and before that, human resources personnel manager for the northern region. In addition, Fred Knox was named vice president of regional operations. He will oversee operations for stores in Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington and Utah. He was previously district manager for the Los Angeles area and district manager for the Southern California desert.
