PASADENA : 16-Year-Old Girl Who Was Killed at Party Identified

A 16-year-old Monterey Park girl who was shot to death at a Valentine’s Day party was identified Wednesday as Gilda Martinez, authorities said.
Martinez was killed and three male teen-agers were wounded when at least four armed youths crashed a party in the 800 block of North Euclid Avenue at 2:30 p.m., Pasadena police Sgt. Paul Gales said.
Martinez died at Huntington Memorial Hospital 30 minutes after the attack, police said.
The wounded teen-agers--two 17-year-olds and an 18-year-old from Pasadena--were treated at the hospital. Their names were not released.
