Harold ‘Hal’ Sieling; Retired High School Coach

Harold “Hal” Sieling, a retired high school athletic coach and longtime Camarillo resident, has died. He was 78.
Born in McCracken, Kan., Sieling moved to Los Angeles as a youth, graduating from Hollywood High School and the University of Southern California.
While in college he excelled in athletics and was a member of the Sigma Chi fraternity.
Sieling went on to work for 30 years as athletic director at Beverly Hills High School. He retired in 1977 and moved to Camarillo.
He is survived by his wife Mable, two children, Harry Sieling and Bobbie Libe and two grandsons.
Services will be held Thursday at Pierce Brothers Griffin Mortuary, 1075 E. Daily Drive, Camarillo.
