Digital Hollywood Convention: Executives from Silicon Valley and Hollywood will discuss the convergence of their industries and the genesis of several new ones at the fifth annual Digital Hollywood convention today through Wednesday at the Beverly Hilton. Among the speakers: Avram C. Miller, vice president of Intel Corp., and Danny Goldberg, chairman of Warner Bros. Panel subjects include advertising in the digital realm, interactive gambling, where to find venture capital for new-media projects, and virtual reality as entertainment. The convention begins at 9:30 a.m. An awards dinner will be held Wednesday evening.
