Surf City on TV: Huntington Beach residents are learning about their city’s desirability as a tourism destination this month via cable television.

A tourism episode of “Business Beat” will air at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday on HBTV-3 featuring a round-table discussion on tourism. The show is moderated by Diane Baker, president of the Huntington Beach Visitor and Conference Bureau.

Really Old Bones: Just in time for whale watching season, John Wayne Airport is displaying the skeleton of a fossilized 24-foot prehistoric whale in the Thomas F. Riley Terminal.
