BOND TICKER : Watchdog Group to Hear Officials
Three top county officials are scheduled to speak at next week’s meeting of the Committees of Correspondence, a citizens’ watchdog group.
County Chief Executive Officer William J. Popejoy will update members on the county bankruptcy and explain how residents can help. Supervisors William G. Steiner and Jim Silva will also speak at the Wednesday meeting.
Committees of Correspondence members will also discuss a possible recall effort against County Auditor-Controller Steve E. Lewis.
The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at Orange City Hall, 300 E. Chapman Ave.
