Lockheed Names Presidents of 3 Units: The appointments will become effective March 15 when the Calabasas-based aerospace giant is expected to complete its merger with Martin Marietta Corp. Minoru S. Araki will become president of Lockheed Missiles Space Co., which is based in Sunnyvale. Araki, 63, currently is executive vice president of Lockheed’s Missiles and Space Systems Group. Dain M. Hancock, 53, will become president of Lockheed Fort Worth Co., the division that builds the F-16 fighter jet in that city. Hancock currently is vice president for the F-16 program. John S. McLellan, 53, executive vice president of Lockheed’s Aeronautical Systems Co. in Marietta, Ga., will become president of that division. He’ll succeed James A. Blackwell Jr., who recently was named aeronautics sector president for the merged Lockheed Martin Corp.
