THOUSAND OAKS : ‘Principal for Day’ Program Is Planned
Thousand Oaks business professionals interested in learning more about local schools are being sought to participate in the program “Principal for a Day” on March 21.
Sponsored by the Conejo Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Conejo Valley Unified School District, the program lets members of the business community accompany school principals for a day, making them more familiar with the education process.
During the summer, the program is reversed, and school principals spend a day with business executives to learn how to prepare students to work in their companies, said Dyan Sage of the Chamber of Commerce.
Anyone interested in participating in “Principal for a Day” may contact program coordinator Cheri Wodtke of Re/Max Professional Realtors at 371-4300, or Sage at 499-1993.
