3 Arrested in Kidnap, Rape
A Glendale woman was kidnaped and raped late Saturday after she accepted a ride from three men in Hollywood, Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said.
The 24-year-old woman was walking home from a friend’s house about 9 p.m. when the men drove up in a car and asked if she wanted a ride home, deputies said in a statement released Sunday.
She accepted the ride, but a short time later was threatened with a gun, deputies said. The men took her to Emmett Road near Pamela Drive where she was raped, deputies said.
The woman managed to escape, ran to a nearby house and called sheriff’s deputies.
After a brief search, deputies arrested Dion Clark, 27, Wallace Clark, 20, and Kevin Lee, 21, and recovered a handgun, deputies said.
Investigators said the men are also suspects in a pair of armed robberies committed Saturday in Santa Clarita.
