Nixon Library Events: The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace in Yorba Linda has been busy marketing itself through special events.

On March 16, for instance, the museum is offering free admission all day in honor of the late First Lady Pat Nixon’s birthday.

It is also offering lectures on Pat Nixon’s life by Carl Anthony, author of “America’s Most Influential First Ladies.”

Also, the museum is holding a special exhibit of paintings of U.S. presidents by artist John W. Orth and a display of Civil War-era pictures by renowned photographer Mathew Brady. The photo exhibit is titled “Lincoln and His Contemporaries.”
