SANTA BARBARA--Discover downtown galleries, studios, museums and other art-filled spaces during “Art About Town,” March 17-19. Participants take self-guided tours of the State Street area, noon-5 p.m. Saturday-Sunday. MURPHYS--The spirit of the Emerald Isle comes to Calaveras County for Murphys Irish Days, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. March 18. Main Street is filled with Irish music, dance, food and drink, games and other festivities. Free. Also featured: A wee-folks parade for kids at noon, and a treasure hunt.
