SAN CLEMENTE : Some City Workers to Receive 3% Raises
- Share via
The City Council has approved 3% cost-of-living raises for about 100 workers represented by the San Clemente City Employees’ Assn.
The workers include secretaries, planners and maintenance staff. The raises will go into effect July 1, according to Marsha Payne, an administrative analyst for the city. The last cost-of-living raise for the workers was in December, 1991, Payne said. The city has budgeted $200,000 for the pay increases.
The agreement, approved by the City Council on Wednesday, also includes pay increases for employees who are called to be on standby for emergency street, sewer, water, parks and beach repairs. The agreement expires June 30, 1996.
