SAN PEDRO : Man Charged in Death of Girlfriend’s Baby

A 23-year-old man was charged with murder Monday in the death of his girlfriend’s 4-month-old daughter.
Rosendo Armis was arraigned in San Pedro Municipal Court and ordered held without bail.
Deputy Dist. Atty. Patricia Ryan said Armis had been caring for the baby at the time of her March 2 death. The cause of death was listed as blunt-force trauma, the prosecutor said. Armis lived with the child’s mother in San Pedro.
