An estimated 1,000 job applicants, mostly teen-agers, are expected to line up Saturday for about 500 part-time seasonal positions at the Raging Waters theme park in San Dimas.

Sylvia Chapman, human resources manager, said good personalities, ready smiles, an ability to work with people and a neat appearance are some of the qualifications interviewers will watch for.

The job fair, open to applicants at least 16 years old, will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the 50-acre park, 111 Raging Waters Drive, at the junction of the San Bernardino, Foothill and Orange freeways.
