Survey Shows Growth of U.S. Exporters: According to a survey of 428 fast-growing companies conducted by Coopers & Lybrand of New York, U.S. exporters are expanding faster and showing 21% higher revenue than companies operating only in domestic markets. The exporters predicted a 35% growth rate over the next year, compared to 25% among the domestic firms, the report said, and 83% of the exporters said they would be hiring in the next year. Productivity at the exporting companies averaged $234,000 per worker, compared to $158,000 at the others.
