JES Produces Guide to Special Events
JES Enterprises, a Ventura publishing firm, has produced an “open-ended” guide to special events throughout Southern California.
Bypassing theme parks and other mainstream attractions, the publication concentrates on such offbeat events as sandcastle-building contests, arts and craft shows, marathons, workshops and street fairs, according to JES owner James Stuart.
Purchasers of the 80-page guide will receive free updates every four to six weeks, according to Stuart. He said the guide covers events from San Luis Obispo to San Diego.
