BUENA PARK : Intruders Terrorize Family of 5
A family of five was robbed and terrorized when their apartment was invaded by five armed men, police said Wednesday.
Just after 9 p.m. Tuesday, two adults and three children having dinner at their apartment in the 7600 block of Fillmore Drive were ordered to the floor by the robbers, who burst in through the front door and an open bedroom window, Buena Park Sgt. Lloyd Schwengel said.
After tying up the family members, the robbers--speaking Vietnamese--demanded money and jewelry, police said. As the robbers ransacked the apartment, one of them kicked one of the bound adults on the floor, slightly injuring him. The five men then took the cash and jewelry and left the apartment, with the victims still tied, Schwengel said.
