WOODLAND HILLS : 4 Students Win Science Awards
Four ninth-graders from Abraham Joshua Heschel Day School in Woodland Hills have received awards for their participation in the 1995 Toshiba/NSTA ExploraVision Awards, a science competition.
The school honored the four at a ceremony Thursday. The students are Jonah Balfour, Eric Engleman, Aaron Schwartzman and Steven Swaigenbaum. Their teacher-adviser is Nancy Nicholls.
The school, founded in 1972, is an independent Jewish day school serving families from all branches of Judaism.
