The Armed Forces Reserve Center in Los Alamitos is the site for a two-day disaster preparedness fair run by the base and the city.
Organizations that provide emergency services will conduct CPR and first aid training. Residents can also learn how to protect themselves during emergencies. Earthquake survival kits and related supplies will also be available for sale. The fair runs through Sunday. Hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
