Free Literacy Lessons Offered
The Library Adult Reading Project of the Los Angeles Public Library offers free one-on-one tutoring for people age 18 and older.
Volunteer tutors and adult students meet twice a week for a minimum of six months.
The program is offered at libraries in northeast Los Angeles, from Eagle Rock to Boyle Heights.
