Share

Hundreds of residents will help beautify local parks and assist the elderly with home improvement projects as part of Volunteer Connection Day, a countywide event April 22 that is expected to draw thousands of people.

The city will look to improve the aesthetics of the Dana Point park system by planting flowers and shrubs throughout the community.

Volunteers also will help senior citizens who are physically unable to finish home projects that include gardening, painting, minor repairs and housecleaning.
