Arts Running Out of Gas?

After 55 years the Southern California Gas Co. had discontinued sponsorship of a two-hour nightly classical music program, currently on radio station KKGO.

Is this an indication of the response we can expect from the private sector in the face of expected marked reduction in government support of the arts?
