AND ONE MORE THING: So what did Debbie Gibson think about recording with the reunited Circle Jerks, who asked her to do background vocals on a song titled “I Want to Destroy You”?
“It was so loud, I had to wear earplugs in the control room,” says the former teen star, now 25. “It was definitely different, belting out words like ‘I want to destroy you.’ But when you can understand what they’re saying, their lyrics are actually pretty deep. They’re great guys and I had a blast working with them.”
Gibson, meanwhile, has her own new album, titled “Think With Your Heart,” due July 4.
