REGION : MTA to Begin 2 New Services Next Month
Transit officials last week announced two new services that will transport south Los Angeles residents between Imperial Highway and West Hollywood and provide taxi-like “flexible destination” shuttle services for an area southwest of the Coliseum.
Both Metropolitan Transportation Authority lines are scheduled to begin operation in May.
The Inner City Connector Line 305 will run between the Imperial Highway Green Line station and the intersection of La Cienega and Santa Monica boulevards in West Hollywood. The service will operate every 30 minutes during peak periods Monday through Friday and pass through Watts, South-Central and the Crenshaw District.
The flexible-destination shuttle will operate every half hour in the area bounded by Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, 52nd Street, Budlong Avenue and Angeles Vista Boulevard between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily.
