Babies Should Travel in Rear-Facing Car Seats
- Share via
I was dismayed to see the picture showing one of the Quezada quints being adjusted for the ride home in a forward-facing car seat.
Every car seat on the market requires that from birth to about 20 pounds, a baby should ride in the rear-facing position, to best protect the child’s weak neck area. Having a car seat is not good enough . . . it must be used correctly and consistently to ensure that a child is properly protected.
