Lovelorn Elephants Kill Keeper in Belgium
BRUSSELS —
Two lovelorn elephants trampled their keeper to death at a Belgian wildlife park Sunday when he tried to keep them apart, the Belga news agency said.
The two animals reportedly broke out of their pens in the park in the town of Aywaille after the male became angry at being barred from approaching his would-be mate.
